The art of shielding is quite easy. All you do is think of a shield that envelops your body. To protect yourself from certain attacks or constant telepathic bombardment, all you do is put a little forethought to what you want the shield to be. So if you think your being attacked by a demon, protect yourself with gods light.
Ways of shielding:
Theres two ways, passive and active. With passive, you can set up a shield, put a time limit on how long you want the shield to last or a limit on how much it will protect you, and your done. When properly designed(meaning after the thought of what your shield will be) you will be able to block anything psionically.
With active shielding, you are constantly changing your aura to the changing enviroment. This is most utilized when in astral projection, due to the travelling you may do, you may encounter many different beings with different powers. You also may encounter many different enviromental conditions, such as a place reclusive for demons. If you find one of these places, you may want to make a shield that blocks all attacks, or you may want to make a shield that disguises you. You may even create a construct within your solar plexus, that is designed to votcex your body into a inter-dimensional black hole, that sends you to a vantage point or a safe place.
The key to it all is the thought you put behind your constucts. Its also emotion that plays a big part of it. When constructing put the emotions and senses of what your really trying to portray in a construct.
