Comments...Questions...and...Criticism

Hello! I have a bit of constructive criticism for you. Just read it with an open mind

1) I'd like the General boards to be realigned. I think it should be something more like
News
Introductions
General
Helping Hands
Suggestions
Links
Or, at least put the News/Rules at the very top.

2) [on the Rules] I think that rule 11 should be expanded to say ''Keep conversation about PSI and not about any other energy'' or can we talk about Ki? If we can talk about Ki, then why not magic?

3) [still on the rules] Are we allowed to talk about religion? Are we allowed to mentor? Is there a limit to the 'don't use slag' rule? Can we use lol, btw, IM(H)O?

4) We need an articles board. I see articles pouring out all over the place! We could even have an article 'help' forum.

5) [Still off on my articles tangent] These articles need sources! So far I have seen only ONE article with sources.

6) Are we allowed to use -kinesis terms?

Ah...well. That's all for now. I really like what you have done with the site Drynal. There is room for improvement, however I believe it could be MUCH worse...so good job!

All right, I'm going to remain as short and as quick as possible. These are all very good suggestions, but some of the subjects you have mentioned are already in effect. Such as your point about Ki, Chi or whatever you wish to call it. that already has it's own place under Other Energies, under the Psi-Ball board. The realignment deal I agree with, definitely. As for Magic(k) I'm willing to bet I'm the top authority on that subject here, I have a board for that and I teach it, however, at the moment we have determined that a magic(k) board just isn't necessary, as we would like to remain on the subject of Psionics and address that most specifically as that is the main purpose or intent of these Forums. If Drynal allows me to, I will come up with a standard for accepting mentors, and applications for getting a mentor. At the moment there just are not enough people on the boards to start just handing out positions to random people some of us might not know, or have gotten to know via chat or the internet in one way or another. On the subject of Religion, My own boards main targets are Religion(Theology) and Magic(k) since the two coincide, so at the present moment in time, it like Magic(k), does not need to be discussed here. Personally, I like to put sources in my articles, such as I did when I posted On the Nature of Psi, it would indeed be a good requirement. For kinesis, yes, did you see the post on Pyrokinesis? If you had you probably wouldn't have asked that question. On the other hand there is the issue of Slang...No, we want this place to not only be safe from fluff, we would like to keep it as professional as possible. Those short little acronyms give people a loop far to often to get away with not being noticed for certain circumstances that are just too long a list to type out. Does that satisfy your questioning?
