Because where I live like 95% of our non=native population is Vietnamese. It's something you pick up here and there.

Have you ever been to Vietnam Here its a lot of viet people. They are coming to syracuse new york where I live lol and some of my viet friends taught me their language,do you know the common names. - Danh
- Hoa (first name)
- Nguyen
- Pham
- Luu (Chinese...but he speaks Tieng Viet)
- Trang
- Nguyen (of course)
- French=1st language
- German=Learned it because of frequent trips to Switzerland (sp?)
- English=Learned it in school because they offered only 4 languages: English, Spanish, German, and Italian...I don't really like Spanish or
- Italian...and I already spoke French.
- Irish=I learned it for relgious reasons
- Vietnamese=My friends taught it to me.
